Welcome to the Ranch!

Double Black Ranch was established in 2004.  We believe in fully taking advantage of every season.  Double Black Ranch has 120 acres of the best horse/dog training grounds around and we are located within 20 min. of fantastic MN skiing.  We specialize in breeding quality Labrador Retrievers that are outstanding in the field and home.

Dog News - Izzy (our chocolate lab) had 11 pups on March 21st!!!  We kept a black female but all of the other pups went to terrific homes.  

Ski News - Katie finished first at Nationals in Colorado.  Great job Katie!!

Hunting News - Many pheasants were harvested this past fall and the food plots were enhanced this Spring to create even better hunting this fall for birds and deer.  This past fall, 3 good sized bucks were taken, including Katie's and the neighbor's big 10.

Horse News - It is hard to believe the summer is almost over.  We had a great show season, Katie qualified for Champ Show and we added a new horsey addition to the family.  We have some great photos too!
